Exclamation confused front wipers.. 1 works 1 doesn't

I have a 1995 Golf and my right front wiper just stopped working. It doesn't move at all (interestingly when I lifted the hood I could manually move it, though not the left functioning one!). Any thoughts before I take it in? MUCH appreciated!

thanks... is it feasible to go take off the screen that covers the access to this and try and fix this myself? or would you recommend taking it in?

Getting the plastic cover off can be a pain, it depends on your mechanical aptitude.... Parts will have to be from the dealer otr a junkyard.

well this might be an old thread and most likely the problem is fixed but did any1 not think of simply tightening the bolt that holds the wiper arm on!?
