Electrical

Volt and Air bag lights flash and car seems to surge. Changed tension pully and belt still surges and seems like the electrical system is low and then back to normal. Help !

Re: Electrical

Did you check the alternator? Sounds like its trying to whack out on you. Also check to make sure battery cables are -clean- and secure.

Re: Electrical

Tried it. Still no luck. Volts light is staying on untill I rev it up for a minute and then it goes off.

Re: Electrical

I'm almost sure the alternator is your problem. You can take it out, and bring it in to have it bench tested. I know some places will do that for you. They will even bench test it and put a load on it. More than likely your alternator is your problem.
