loose wire

I have a 95 sierra and under the relay and fuse block there is a red wire with a spade conector on it going to nothing. I think its the fuel pump prime connector wire does anyone know where it conects to? there is a engine code 54 and the truck will die at idle when its it drive and its hot

thanks

You are correct and it attaches to nothing

54 is a bad relay..might be the cause of your stalling but I doubt it.

Usually if you have a stalling hot in gear concern on these, I start looking at the pick up coil as the possible cause of the fault.
