Multiple warning lights '99 Accord EX

I have a '99 Accord V6 model. Recently the dashboard lit-up on me, with the battery light, the brake light (parking brake not on), all open door lights, and the rear brake light warning indicator lights all displaying. This happened about 2 months ago, along with the engine occasionally not wanting to start. My local repair shop said it was the alternator and replaced it. All seemed fine until today, when the lights came on again. The engine starts OK for now, but I am confused on why this is happening. The car has some 115K miles on it.

Any help would be most appreciated.

Mike

Your altenator is going.
Replace it asap.
Make sure you get a new one and not a remanufacturered one.
Also, check all wires from you battery to the altenator and if possible replace the battery also

Good Luck!

Thanks for the response. Yes, I took it to my local shop and it turned out to be a bad bearing in the alternator. It was still under warranty, so didn't cost me anything but frustration.

Thanks again!
