Angry She hit a parked car!

I think I've see the dumbest thing to date now. My wife hit a parked car in the driveway tonite. Now I have a scratch running the length of the bed of the truck. The sad thing is she wasn't even suppose to be in my truck. Just had the windshield replaced today. There goes my remote starter and cold air intake. Man I can't get over she hit her piece of crap truck and only broke a tail light cover. I guess I need to find me another chrome fender flair. I'll post pics of the damage tomorrow.

Re: She hit a parked car!

Is that ALL you are going to replace???? Had a '62 Nova Hdtp in college and the truth/joke was "The car came first and the car goes last..." Sad thing was it bugged her so bad that she fullfilled the prophecy!

Re: She hit a parked car!

In three years my wife has only driven my truck 4 times. Twice while on a trip and twice when I was doing some work on her car (they were really short trips). So far she hasn't hit anything (knock on wood). What you are facing here is a real test for the love you have for your wife. Which is more important...DON'T ANSWER THAT!!!

Wink Oh the misogyny

I completely agree with you. Women are like children in the respect that they require constant supervision. If I were you I would not let your wife drive your truck. I don't even let my wife drive at all; her duty is to not worry her pretty little head about a thing; she just has to stay home barefoot and pregnant.
Be the man and show your wife her place. You know what that means you have to do.

Yeah..Right!!! My wife doesn't drive the truck much by her choice, not mine (and works just fine for me). Besides she has an '05 Malibu Max and is having too much fun driving that. But I am serious in that when one spouse damages the vehicle primarily used by the other, it is none the less a challenge to the quality of the marriage.....

Re: She hit a parked car!

She's going to pay for the paint job on my truck. I need to get out and find a good paint shop up here in alaska. I think it will be awhile before she touches the truck.

Re: She hit a parked car!

I did not say divorce ....

Just learn the lesson this situation gave you and take appropriate measures to make sure you do not need to learn another lesson......

Re: She hit a parked car!

Just fix it. Thats what insurance is for.

I thought marriage was a mutual thing. The damn truck don't matter, it can be replaced, or fixed in this case.

maybe I just have a distorted view of life....?

I know what it feels like to have your wife mess up your truck, While I was deployed my wifes car's power steering went out on her monte carlo, so instead of fixing it she started driving my truck, next thing i know im talking to her and she is crying her ass off, she says to me i wrecked your truck, well she hit a parked truck on the side of the road, minor damage to the 78 F-100's bumper, i now have a crease running from my passenger door to a dent and crease in my 3rd door all the way to the rear wheel well, and then she backed it into a pillar in our car port. Oh well what can you do.
I just hit mine with a phone book and call it a day. Im just kidding i love my wife and would never hit her after all she is having my son. she now has to put up with 2 of me

Huh?!? Isn't that "we" are going to pay? Maybe you should marry the truck...

I caught that and agree. Hopefully he never has to borrow his wife's car...

My wife has never cracked one of my vehicles up, but I smacked a deer with one of her Bonneville's once. Glad she was cool with me about it. I sure didn't intend to hit it, and I don't believe it was a lack of brains that caused it to happen.
