Spoilers, Taillights, and Copyright Infringement, OMG!!

I saw all of the wing forums and just thought I'd clue you in to my plans. The legless high rise has me, like the matrix. Lemme explain. In photoshop(I suck btw).

I can't upload the original but you can easily find it on Google's Image Search under "1991 Z28".

This is a High rise Spoiler with its legs taken and the wing has(somehow) been smoothed out to match the car's bodylines. This can be acheived with a custom spoiler(it looks like a wing!!) that is attached to the hatch another way, like a flat fiberglass board underneath the spoiler. G&T Fiberglass sells one for $185 have no idea how the hatch with clear it...

My goal started out as this

That's GT4's Iroc Concept. It says it's from 1988 but i could never find a chevy concept that remotely resembled this one. I'm guessing Sony molded it this way so that the T/A enthusiasts had a cool car to drive as well, since there's not even one Trans Am, which bites, but still, ingenious, at least we got a bunch of camaros

I know I'm asking you guys(gals included) to compare my PS pic to Sony's multi-billion dollar supercomputers but honestly, would you rather have the signature outside lights or do you like the trans am look?

*edit Yes I did remove the pictures, pm me if you want them, do not reply as this is old

So find it for me, All I found was the GTX, and that looks like the 4th gen. So you're saying this was a real car?

Re: Spoilers, Taillights, and Copyright Infringement, OMG!!

And on a side note, the wing is probably larger on the concept than the Z28 highrise. It's the same size as the taillight's height, whereas the spoiler from the Z28s are maybe 2/3s the size. It's funny he says he got the inspiration for the F40 because that's just what i thought when I first unlocked it. I just got back from reading a flaming match thread, so please no haters. I don't think me newbie mind could take it. We can flame eachother later XD

i might be the only one here... but i can honestly say that i don't like the way that thing looks... taillights look decent, but i don't like the spoiler... maybe the z28 without legs... but the other one is just too tall

I'd actually take pleasure in knowing my Camaro looks like a Ferrari F40. Seriously. Drivng, I welcome your opinion, it is huge! But Chuck Jordan's ideas helped balance out the car. The front end is very big and looks even more so with the ground effects. Having a Z28 wing and especially the RS spoiler, it's very small from a lot of angles. With the F40 wing, you can see it, it makes a difference and I bet functional as well. I think the hatch will clear it also!(anything's possible)...maybe it's still too big. I'd need more opinions first.

edit: hatch definitely won't clear the wing

^Haha Quicksilver I was about to say that you couldnt open your hatch because of the wing, thats kinda stupid. I think the car looks cool, only weird thing is the taillights really and the fence hood thing.. doesnt look good really.

if you look closer, you can see that the hatch is modified to where the glass lifts up alone instead of the entire hatch.

That way the wing covers where the spare would go. But I don't even have a spare. I'd use that for storage. Could you imagine having to take apart the bumper everytime you need to get into the trunk proper? "Just gotta get something from the trunk (brings toolbox) If I'm not back in ten minutes, call for help"

I kinda like the one that G&T sells. I'm going to find out where you mount it and update this post.
