cheap & simple mod sugestions?
I'm looking for some cheap & simple mods my brother can do to his 88 crx si to get a little more out of the stock d16a6.

we've already done intake, a free-er flowing exhaust, and performance spark plug wires.

if you already have an exhaust than get a header off ebay or something...

how about an AEM cam gear? dosnt do much unless you have big mods...but looks pretty nice

Are you wanting to keep going for performance or what. If not get some coil overs and strut bars if you want to get some more handling out of it

i was thinking a strut tower brace and fuel press. regulator, or whatever's cheap.
and what is meant by 'junk yard turbo'?

Take a turbo from a junk yard and slap it on. Whats the point in a fuel pressure regulator if you dont need one?

he meant you dont need the extra fuel with the modifications you have now...the fpr will do nothing for you

Saw the bottom off the stock air box! It's free and at least as good as a cheap air intake. Get a K&N drop in filter to go wit it.
