4 door speakers?
My doors have only 1 speaker each (LS is a 2-door model, LT is 4 doors)

My back-seat passenger speakers failed, and I've read of others having rear speakers crap out.
Never had a problem with the dash units, so if you have aftermarket units, I'd check/test all connections.

Re: speakers on a 97

4-door models come with both the LS and LT trim level package. I have an LS but it is fully loaded, including factory installed driving/fog lamps up front. Power *everything* too. (Locks, remote, mirrors and seats) The only difference is that the LT has leather trim, seats, interior and I think door claddings and decals. I have a cloth interior, no door cladding, plastic dash, plasitc & fabric door panels and leather wheel only all on a 4-door 4x4.

Check all your speaker wires and speakers. Hopefully, you'll only have blown speakers which are easy to replace. I replaced my 98' LT's speakers with Pioneer 3way 100 watt speakers in all the doors and the dash. Cost me about $100 total. And just so that my sound quality was better, I added a Pioneer DEH-P77H. Better sound than that of the factory.
