1997 fule pump
Truck recently would not start - cranked fine but would not run. Did not hear fuel pump cycle. Waited a few minutes and truck sarted. Drove to town and same thing happened again except it didn't start at all.
Removed fuel pump from tank. Connected fuel pump to fuel pump harness and pump cycled as it should. Waited 30 minutes and pump is dead again. Fuse OK - not sure about relay. Any ideas? |

Look into the relay, as well as any grounds... Should those be ok, it's most likely your ignition switch..

fuel pump
Hey man, check your grounds i payed 300 hundred bucks for a new one on my 97 s-10 and it was just a ground wire that was coming loose. The ground wire that was loose on mine was on the driver's side very back of frame. just follow the wires from the fuel pump. but yeah my truck did the same thing run alright for a little while then quit, check the ground

Re: 1997 fule pump
The ground wires are back where the bumper bolts on.
