how much putty for a bodykit?

Hi guys, just want to find out ( roughly ) the amount a first timer in scratch building needs to mold out a body kit consisting of the front/back bumper, wheelarchs and GTwing.

household puttys all come in small quantities at exorbitant prices! thanx in advance.

I dunno about household putties. I use Tamiya Epoxy putty and Evergreen Styrene Sheets. Theyr'e both really cheap ( $7.00 for the both of them). I was able to use the combination of those to build 2 body kits easy. I still have practically the entire styrene sheet left. I'm pretty wasteful, tho. Depending on complexity, you could probably build at least two complete body kits. The ones that I built were just front end, skirts, arches and a little back end. Hope that helps...
