Fan Control Dosen't work
I have a 2000 malibu and the fan control knob will not work in the first three setting's? It will work on 4 & 5, but thy's like full blast?
Has anyone replaced this switch before on their own and if so, how hard is the job?

It's probably the resistor. Here's what to do:
http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbul...d.php?t=324040 If it's the switch for some reason, here... http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbul...ht=a%2Fc+light is something about another problem in that area. It will tell you how to pull apart the assembly and get a look in there.
