Suzuka

Well the weather and the stupid qualifying format has produced a pretty unusual grid for tomorrows GP. The three big players, Alonso and the Macs, were caught out by the rain and will all start at or near the tail of the grid. Kimi had another engine change but that didn't count in the washout.

The man in the right place at the right time was Ralf Schumacher taking a home race pole position for Toyota. At Honda's track to boot! Button will join Ralf on the front row, making it an all Japanese affair. Honda announced the other day they will be buying BAR out 100%.

The man most looking forward to tomorrow must be Fisichella, sitting pretty in third position. Of course the weather may have more surprises in store.

Big day in front of the telly tomorrow. Bathurst 1000, Suzuka GP and the third Australia v the Rest of the World cricket.

Jenson Button is!

Turned out to be an interesting race. Montoya was once more a shit magnet and crashed out early. Kimi and Alonso showed their class carving through the field and how exciting was Kimi's last lap pass for the lead?

The on track action is still pretty good at times it seems. What a shame the powers that be are trying their best to screw it all up yet again.

Re: Suzuka 2005

well.... I have to say that when it comes to F1, I am a massive Honda fan. What they achieved when they were running cars back when they were a scooter company and then their success with their supplying of engines later, is simply outstanding.
