Floor consoles

good morning , can anyone tell me if a 1966 floor console assembly can be used on a 1965 Chevelle?

It will fit, but it's not correct. The 66 has a clock. The 65 was just straight brushed aluminum.

Thanks for the info, we doing some customizing so its not important to be correct.
