ok, i just got blender running, i finally figured how to get a picture on it, but the pic stays there for front view etc.
i can fix that by changing pic for each view. does anyone know how to get the wireframe lines onto the screen? the mouse clicked draws a line, but it doesnt stay there. please help!   -chris

what you have to realise nice car is that you cant start a 3d program and start modelling a car straihgt away you have to do some smaller projects first so heres some basic tutorials for you
http://www.tutorialized.com/tutorial/Car-Wheel/7101 http://www.elysiun.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=4624 after doing the rim tutorial and completing a few on the other site you should be able to make a very basic car model.
