why street racing is bad

Heres too good reasons why you shouldnt street race.

yeah 100.3 in a 55 and careless driving, the cop let me off easy!

this is also one of the reasons i got rid of the crx as I cant risk my licence anymore than i already have since im in college for automotive and with no licence school is useless.

Re: why street racing is bad

Was that for you?! Damn dude, I thought you'd know better.

Hopefully you don't lose your liscence, that would be shitty. I know here in Ontario with a carless and a speeding ticket like that you'd probably have to go to court and explain why you shouldn't have your liscence suspended.

if only there were a place where you could go and pull up next to somebody and when a light comes on you could push your car as fast as it would go and be able to record the time & mph....if only....

Wow, tell me somethign I dont know, or didnt already say myself. Try and tell you you've never gone above the speed limit on roads before. These are like 4 months old almost, and I acutally got ride of my swapped crx and got a almost stock si hatch just to keep me out of trouble. I didnt post this up to show off, i posted it to show everyone that racing is bad and tickets are real, real expensive.

Re: why street racing is bad

That sucks. I stopped doing reckless stuff and street racing after my first ticket. Now only do 5-10 over, unless I'm going on a long road trip, then I go with the very upper end of traffic.

I might do 5-10 mph over on the hwy. Thats just to keep from getting ran over though. Never almost double. I can pay my way into the track almost all season for what I would pay for a speeding ticket.

Re: why street racing is bad

looks like only 215, and 75 dollars for the two? i did 80 in a 40 (dont ask, long story, not racing) and got slapped with a $325 ticket, luckily the cop was on a bike so he couldnt take me to jail, never did that again...

Re: why street racing is bad

NY now has a major surcharge, you will get a letter in the mail 1 week to a month after your court hearing that says you have to pay a state surcharge of...get this, $250 at least, my roomate rolled through a stop sign, didnt blow through it, and has to pay a total of $450 just for the surcharge, thats not including the fine and court surcharge. So it doesnt pay to do anything illegal in NY.
