Ipod compatuble audio?
hey, Im just about to turn 16 so im buying a car (if u guys have any info u can reply to my thread on the "car comparisons" thing). except i cannot live w/out my ipod. Im sure there are some audio systems out there that work w/ ipods, like those new BMWs. so can u guys recommend anything, and wat r the prices on them? thanx in advance - Tommy

Well if mommy and daddy are rich, buy a new bmw. But if not, some Alpine and Pioneer head units support ipods via a couple accessories. Just check their sites you'll see it.

well, you could buy an ipod compatible aftermarket deck, i've got a kenwood KDC7028. then buy an ipod interface, i got the KDC-IP500. it lets u control the ipod from ur head unit, and charges it at the same time.
if u buy a car w/o an ipod compatible head unit, u could get an aux. interface from companies such as JL Audio. JL Audio CleanSweep It'll read ur ipod but you won't be able to charge it at the same time. also, if u want something *really* cheap, just buy a FM transmitter. u get what u pay for ,though. most sound like crap.
