Steering Wheel Off Center

I have a 2003 Monte Carlo SS. Had a new steering colume shaft installed and brakes. Now my steering colume is off center towards the right. When I center, the steering wheel I move slightly to the left. The Dealer say's that there is relation as to the work that they did. Has anyone had the dame problem and if so, what was the cause.

So they must have had the steering wheel off and reinstalled it off center. Some cars have a master spline so it goes back the same way, yours doesn't. I would get them to pop off the wheel and put it back on straight.

come back

You have a come back, the auto technician over looked this which is not a good sign, as this is a no brainer when you finish installing the colume. If it was straight when you brought it in then its not an alignment problem as it would have been off center when you brought it in.
