Question Navi and XM

Im picking my 06' TB next week, and its loaded with nav and xm..ect.
I understand that to use the navi the DVD must be in, however is there anyway to use the navi on screen, but play the radio or xm without having to comepletely turn off the navi?

I just got back from taking a trip using my Navigational System on my 2006.
Yes, you can use the radio/XM while using the Nav System.
In fact, the screen while using the Nav System will display the channel number that you have selected on your radio/XM.
Have no fear, you can still hear the radio/XM and even the Navigator's voice will work....she simply talks a little louder than the radio/XM.
You can make her voice louder or softer within the options area.
Hope this helps
