Unhappy 5th gear jumps out of gear

Does anyone know were to buy transmisson parts for a 93 3000gt with a 5 speed manual PN#F5M33. Mine has the 5th gear jumping out and hard to find reverse. Removed transaxle, found the nut that holds the 5th gear synchronizer had backed off. The 5th syno is damaged and the reverse cone damaged. Having trouble finding parts. Thanks

Re: 5th gear jumps out of gear

check drivetrain.com ... If I remember correct, they have rebuild kits specific for our cars.... look under manual transmissions, Mitsubishi, f5m33 (not the W version, that is the AWD I b/l)

Your 1996 Mitsubishi 3000GT VR-4 is the 92nd out of the 315 that were made that year. Only 21 of which are exactly identical.
