will not start please any ideas?

ok i peeled the cyclinder where you inserst the key! now i was able to start the vehical once when it started i heard a rather werid clunk but the car stayed running so i shut it off, so i could put the stearing wheel back on. after i finished that the car will not start i dont hear the feul pump kick on but all lights light up on dash as if it going to start but it only clicks and that clicking under the dash is the heater relay! i think there also is a click under the hood im not sure please if any one has a good idea let me know!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! the car is a 95 eclipse with a 98 engine!

try getting a new ignition switch. also is your neutral safety switch disconnected or broken? that could be causing it to "click" but not start.
