It's most obviously a short somewhere, good luck finding it. Have you been messing around with your electrical system lately?

Yeah word up. have fun finding it... As he started to say, have you changed anything lately? Installed a CD player, speakers, anything having to do with electricity or moving anything around that WAS connected to power? If you have... you messed something up and I suggest you take a look at it before you go messing up other stuff too

you prolly got the power lead on the deck to touch the metal brackets under the neath shorting out your systems, tape up your electrical connections.

yeah, they'll charge you $75 just to look for it. What a waste.

BTW, don't keep replacing fuses if you don't know what's wrong with it yet. You're gonna end up hurting something. There's a reason there's a fuse in there.

try unhooking the wire that goes to the CD players "light" input, if the problem doesn't go a way ....... then try the const 12V,switched 12V and gnd. Reattach each one if the symptoms do not go away when you disconnect it. That should tell you where to start looking. My guess would be that one of your power wires is hooked to the light switch power.
