Another Header Question

I am getting the headers put in tomorrow, i was wondering how often i should check the bolts and see if they are loose. Do they become loose often? If so how many times am i going to have to have them retightened before there finally set in place"

I used some ARP header bolts and they never loosened on me. They are expensive though ($80!) but I had great results with them. Nothing worse than a Header Flange leak !

Re: Another Header Question

I think i also read somewhere, cutting the flanges between the header pipes will help reduce the bolts becoming loose.

*I DO NOT CONDONE THIS PRATICE* Please, don't try this before anyone else comments on this, this is just something that I heard somewhere, and was wondering how true it was. I have never tried this.
