Angry Double Mad, Oil Plug

Now I am double mad, I need to replace the oil plug, it had
been striped by whoever did last oil change on my Concorder 94

I went to Advance and got everything, ready to get under
the car but now I got another problem,

I cant use the ramps that we got, because the front
of the car hit the ramps.

Any ideas, I hope the threat on the oil pan is not damaged.

just get some peices of wood such as large fence posts and cut a 45 degree angle and drive up on that. Or you could jsut jack the car up and use stands...not my favorite thing to do but it works.

Re: Double Mad, Oil Plug

you could also just bypass all of that and use a heilcoil. tap the hole out and use a little bit of blue loctie and put the coil in the stripped hole

Unhappy

Thanks, thanks for all your tips, I am going to wait until
the weekend, since I need the car to go to work 29 miles
from where I am.

This is a new car, well used, but I just got it from Berglund.

I normally do my own little stuff on the car, but we when
shopping and my girlfriend suggested to do a oil change at
walmart, so we went.

The car was rejected, the tech said that the plug was
stripped and leaking oil.

Well, I dont have a single drop of oil here where I park the
car, nor had loss any oil on all this time.

So who knows, who really did it, did Walmart damaged or
Berglund tech trying to get the car out quick ( since I am waiting )
damaged ?

We guess Berglun.

I like the car very much, and will do my best for it
( With a little help from you folks here )
