How fast a firebird formula or trans am?

hi guys..

l wonder, what is the top speed of firebird or trans am (LT1).

l have a 97 firebird formula, and l didnt have chance to try my car's speed.


also, yesterday, on the street, like 15 seconds, l raced with a 2003 mustang GT. we were both waiting at the light, early in the morning.. l didnt even think about racing. l wasnt in the mood. while were waiting, he was accelerating his car and looking at me and smiling.a he ws mostly 20 year old. l thought he wanted to race with me. and l thought why not, and at the green light, we both moved, suddenly l passed him like, a car length.and like 15 seconds, we went like that. it wasnt a high way, and it wasnt a tight, busy road. it was empty, and l didnt event look at my speedometer. it happened so qucikly, l had to stop, because, l didnt want cops to take my drivers lcience. right before l stop accelerating, he was like 2,5 car length behind me.

and l wanna ask you guys, mustangGT? or firebird formula/trans am?

well, it didnt smoke,

normally l do not race.. l do not care.. l prefer to drive safely.. but sometimes.. it happens..

This must be the 3rd or 4th thread you have made asking the same question.

Not sure why you are so stuck on top speed either....doesn't matter much as long as you get to it fast.
And yes, the LT1 car should beat the Mustang.

Top speed of an LT1 camaro 6-speed is 157 mph...so you can bet on it being somewhere around there...what did the 15 seconds have to do with anything?
