Thumbs down

It totally looks 100% Altima. Just because Nissan puts every can on the same chassis; why does every car have to look the same?

right

Right, and just how do we all know that it is actually a Maxima and not really an Altima? It's ugly as hell anyway, Nissan is full of weirdos.

im sure that cover on the center of the grill is not going 2 be there so its going 2 retain its big mouth grill, those headlights look ugly like beady fish eyes, i like the side view, the rear end is ok tailights do look similar 2 altimas, looks extreme like the infiniti G35.

Lightbulb 2004 Maxima giggle

Hey it always seems like when Nissan releases something for example the last two generation maxima's ... everyone hated the way it looked...especially the 2000 model year...However, you see one burn your ass on the road and all of a sudden your in love...I don't know what Nissan has up their sleeves, but with so many loyal Max lovers.. You actually think they would let you down!!! I spoke to the local dealership.. and he said he did not have official pics, but we can expect a close or better 300bhp max, rear wheel drive..posting 0-60 times in the high 5.'s :alien2:

remember it is desguised, so under all that excessive junk there might be a beautiful car lurking. plus if it is really a v-8, i would be the first one in line to purchase one.(if i had money:bandit

No v-8....I despise most v-8s. Lame gas milage as a rule and too much connotation with domestic cars. Now....what would be the absolute SHIT is if they released a Turbo/Twin turbo version. THEN they could put that engine in the new Z just like they did with the current Max engine. Beautifully designed engine. I WILL buy a new Z if/when they come out with a T/TT version which they HAVE to cuz it's tradition. YOU HEAR THAT YOU EXECS OUT THERE!? STICK WITH TRADITION!!:licker:

Looks like something I'd see in a Sci-Fi movie

Good job on the pics, but I'll keep my '98 SE
