Modifications that are Easy

What are some cheap, increased performance-type modifications out there for 1992 Grand Marquis LS's?

I'm new to the world of cars, being only 19, and also new to performance. I am thinking about first off getting an air filter by FRAM. It is a AirHog product that they offer. Any suggestions about that? Or concerns?

I would appreciate any modification that is cheap but really makes the day for the Grand Marquis.

Thanks!
Eric

A k&n airfilter would benifit you better, they last forever and supposedly increase your power. but a big car like the marquis is gonna be hard to mod out.

Re: Modifications that are Easy

you want a sweet sound from your car that will send chills through your bones and make your car stand out. Best of all it's free. It is not the best for your car but it didn't hurt my car (89 grand marquis). You go under your car and unbolt your exhaust pipe, make sure to remove full pipe for optimum sound quality. I did this for my car and it is the best decision I ever made. This works best with the 5.0L. Not to mention louder than anything I ever heared, vrrrrrmm!!!
