1990 Jeep Won't Start
My daughter has a 1990 Jeep that will turn over but not start. I was told by the mechanic that it is the crank position sensor - problem is - we can't find one. Any idea where I can get one of these??

It has the 4.0L - called all the local auto stores here (O'Reilly's, Napa and AutoZone) and no one has one. Any other ideas? Just need to get the Jeep back running.

Re: 1990 Jeep Won't Start
I tried all the online parts stores and there is no listing for a 1990 wrangler with a 4.0L. The only listing for a crank sensor ($52.99) is for the 4 cylinder engine. There was a 4.2L six engine for 1990 but it does not have a crank sensor and it has a 2 barrel carb.

I'm sorry it's a Wagoneer - finally found one at Carquest out of town. Apparently this is quite a problem for this year Jeep.
