help with some websites

alright, so i don't know what's up...i try and go to a particular website http://www.thefacebook.com and it won't open the site. it comes back and says operation timed out. i can go to any other website i want to. i don't know if it has to do with my computer or what. when i tried to get on the website from my friend's computer i was able to do it. i'm running XP professional using Firefox 1.0.7 i think. i've run Adaware, microsoft spyware detector thing, and norton anti virus. found nothing.

any help would be appreciated. thanks

Re: help with some websites

i figured it out. my damn school blocked it from letting computers on their network access the website. some legal BS or something like that, they are trying to work it out right now though. luckily i found a way around it.
