I am having problems with a '93 Cav rs. this car will start when it is cold & run until it warms up, to running temp. But will not start until it cools off again, does not seem to be getting any fuel when warm. I don't have any codes to out of the ecm now. Any ideas would help

if you KNOW its not getting fuel i'd start with the fuel filter, it could also be a the fuel pump, can you hear the fuel pump when you turn your key right before your engine starts???

I've changed the filter, yes & when it is cooled off then you can hear the fuel pump before it does start, but when it warms up & when I shut it off then you don't hear the pump run until it is completely cooled off.
All of this started after I had to change the head gasket on this 2.2 engine. I did have to replace the MAP sensor, which I thought would cure this problem, but to no avail. I changed the fuel pump in this car about 5 monthes ago, which I really didn't want to do it again, but I maybe have to before I am through-thanx

Re: fuel problems

check your fuel pressure with a pressure gauge to see if you're getting 100-120p.s.i. could be an injector .
