CIVIC 97 - Air intake problem
I recently got a cold air intake for my civic 97
the problem im facing is that the metal piping of the intake,attached to the conicla filter, gtes heated up very quickly, thoght it's not near the exhaust mainfold, but still. As it heates up, it also heats up the air flowing in it and the whole idea of cold air is lost. I want to know if there is any way I can sheild it from eating up. can i use Aluminium foil? and wrap it arpind the metal, or have a aluminium foild made into a sheild and placed in the space b/w the intake pipe and engine. waiting for some advice

Wont make a difference either way. ITS a civic your not getting huge gains from having that intake anways. Do not worry about your issue.

Well the correct way to do this IF you wanted to would be to use header wrap.
