Well hello there, I have 97 venture that has a very bad tranny leak. It seems to be coming from the cover on the drivers side of the tranny and not the bottom pan. I was just wandering if there is any way of repairing this without totally removing the tranny from the van.It seems like the bolts are not accesible without moving the tranny somewhat. Also, is this something that could be done by a DIY or not? Any advice would be great!! Thanks

Re: BAD Tranny Leak
From what I've read, the end plate does come off, but you at least have to drop the transmission partially to get to all the bolts.
