Angry Loss of power

I own a 2002 Sportage. It just hit 78,000 miles (all highway). The other day while heading to work, I started from a stop and no power when I stepped on the gas. I mean nothing, the more I let off the gas it started to go 20-25 mph but when I pushed the gas down and it just lost all power and started costing. I changed the fuel filter and it seemed to correct the problem but two days latter its back to no power. I can pull over turn it off and start it back up and it will run fine again for about 10 miles then it looses power again and I've got to stop it again. Any help?????

Check the fuel pressure regulator off the fuel manifold. You will need to install a fuel pressure gauge to the pressure port located on the front of the fuel rail. Use caution, fuel pressure is 42 psi.
