re se
I think I'm gonna call in to order one on fri since I get paid then. Anyone know some current prices? I'm not sure if I should get a 12 or 15, not sure about amp yet that's gonna be later gotta save up. I listen to rap and it's gonna be in a small civic sedan. Any opinions on size sub and type of box?

Re: re se
15 if you can give up the space, for only rap id reccomend an SX, louder, more powerhandleing, and for just a bit more on the price.
but w/e SE 15 will get plenty loud. just grab you up a good 500-800w amp@2ohm if you get the normal VC configuration (Dual 4ohm) id reccomend some but i dont feel like researching any and my brain is too dead to name one off the top of my head though a JL 500/1 would be perfect and can be had for somewhere in the 300's on Ebay. and a few otherstires (onlinecarstereo.com maybe, i dont know) |

Re: re se
fora 15" driver you only need 16.5" when using 3/4 MDF for forward or rear firing.
SQ is opinionated and for rap/R&B, Techno, and some electric bass guitar there is virtually NO noticeable SQ difference... even at high excursions. |
