still need help with 3.5 misfire?????????

I posted a message about a misfire on my 97 concorde last week. I tried having the intake gaskets changed, but the problem is still there. The #1 and 3 cylinders have a weak spark now. The motor runs with a random putting from the exhaust and slight roughness. The wires, plugs, coil pack, and intake gaskets have now been changed, compression on all cylinders are within 149-151 psi and fuel line pressure is 45psi. The total repairs are at over 1000$ so far. Now I'm thinking cam and crank sensor, any ideas on what might be a probable cause. Any suggestions are welcome, Thank you.

After trying the crank sensor if that does not help from past experience
I would say it is the computer or burnt valves.

Thank you for replying.
I'm going to try changing parts, nobody seems to be able to diagnos the exact problem at the garage and they will do the same process as I would of changing things one by one. I need to find out what all the parts do first, and pick the most likely(and easiest if possible). Any ideas?

Problem solved! After trying a few things, I brought the car into the chrysler dealer and they fixed it within minutes. Turns out, the new coil pack that was installed by the local garage was defective and that the oxygen sensor was the only initial problem to begin with, but it was changed only after the defective coil pack was installed. ALWAYS, go to the chrysler dealer to have the problem diagnosed was what I learned, even if you change the part yourself afterwards. I now have a normal running car.

i have a 96 concord 3.5 also. my problem for the past 2 years, yea 2 years.

1. runs real ruff
2. rpm when warm is up at 1800 on idle
3. loss of power
4. when i remove pass side rear plug engine never changes
5. no starting to backfire when air conditioning is on

i have changed plugs, wires,coil pack, throttle position sensor, idle control sensor on back of manifold, cleaned both throttle bodies, cleaned pvc valve, changed pvc hoses, probaly other stuff.

havent changed oxygen sensor, wonder if that would help. is that located under the hood on the drivers side?

well i hate to tell you but 3.5's maybe powerful but they are nutorious for problems. the 3.3's besides the lack of power is a better engine. i have had an 94 intrepid 3.3 suspension is shot(jumped to many railroad tracks)and a dynasty 3.3 totaled in accident not my fault and my current car a 96 concorde 3.3 my uncle is a chrysler mechanic and he told me if it werent for the power he would never recomed a 1rst gen 3.5 but the second gens are spectacular 250 hp 230ft lbs mmmmm. well my recomendation it to get a second gen swap or get a 3.3 or 3.2 second gen. peace out
