FIPK CARB decal

I recently installed a K&N FIPK in my truck. I was wondering where the silver CARB decal is supposed to go?

Re: FIPK CARB decal

on your lunch box! Thats where all of my stickers go. I hate putting stickers all over my vehicles. But, if you need it for some sorta emissions law, I would say in your engine compartment somewhere. Next to the Catalyst sticker, may be.

I put mine on the fan cowling on that open sooth box. Another place that is good is on the doorjam of the driver's side door.

Re: FIPK CARB decal

I think I put mine right on the heat shield of the FIPK.

I put mine right on the plastic fan cover along with a couple stickers from GM, the plug gap info and belt diagrams.

Seriously? Son of a bitch! I lost my CARB decal while installing the FIPK. I contacted K&N about getting a replacement, and I had to give them all kinds of crap to get a replacement. Dammit!

I have to agree with you on that!!! Some of this stuff neds to be sent to Dr. Phil!!! This just goes to show that we Superado owners just don't have as much to b!+(h about as do those on the F150 or Ram forums. Hmmmm...now why do you suppose that is???
