EDIT-not sure if this would fit underneath a seat

I've got wood one custom made for a different truck (it was for a dodge dakota, so it'll definately fit a silverado). My friend and I built it and it's sealed good. And it's got a cut out for an amp.

Look here , this is what a downfiring 2-12" sub box can look like. I love it and have had no problems. I would never give my 12's up for 10's. I think 12's have so much of a better bass pitch than 10's.

Re: sub box 2 12s

The only reason I have 10's right now is because I couldnt fit 12's in my s10 when I had it.

Behind will be next to impossible unless you do a cut-out port box connecting to the bed.

www.audioenhancers.com
they make a box for 2 10's behind the back seat.

and they also have down firing boxes for the extended cab trucks. they can be purchased at any circuit city store. i would say they would be about 150 -180 or so. just a guess.

On the site it says you need to remove the back panel in the truck, what panel are they reffering to ? thanks

for the crew cab trucks must remove rear panel. this is probably some plastic trim panel or cover of some sort that is behind the seat and not seen. fold the seats down and look and see or take the seats out to see if they do not fold down.

Not exactly. I put 2 Bostwick HDX 10's behind the seat of a 04 2500HD Duramax Crew cab. I just ordered a generic truck box and it fit perfectly. Only thing I had to remove was the little flap that comes down when you let the seats down for hauling something inside.

But with 12's it would be extremely difficult.
