First remove all the screws you can find, (there arne't htat many) than you look for more ha ha. then you simply pull up on the door, be careful there are a lot of easily broken plastic tabs on the back of it, the trick is pushing up more, pulling out less, installation is a bit tricky, but you'll understand when you got the door out.

Good Luck

Appreciate the response. As soon as I get up enough nerve and patience - I'll attack slowly.

It' really doesn't take very long to do. BTW the arm rest has to come off first. I'm pretty sure there are screws underneath that and a wiring connector that have to get removed.

Thank you. I appreciate your help and unless Murphy and his law jumps in, I'm planning on tackling the door this weekend.

Honestly a door panel removal is a really simple easy procedure. I"m sure you'll have no problems with it at all. "knocks on wood"

Re: '94 Cougar inside drivers door panel removal

ok this is more a question than a response. I have a 92 cougar and I am wondering if I can replace the door panels with another years. I know that there are wiring differences but Im willling to tackle that. Will i need to stay with 92 panels or can I upgrade to like a 95 or so that has a different layout?

I'm unfamiliar with those years. However, my first thought is will a '95 fit. I believe there might be a diff. in the interior panel size. Good Luck.
