2000 Cavalier starter problems
One day my car wouldn't start and just made a real fast clicking noise. All of my lights and things were fine. A friend said it was the solenoid. So we replaced the whole starter and solenoid, and it still wouldn't work. Next we checked the battery which was low and probably needed replacing, so we bought a new battery. This did not do anything either. We have checked the battery connections, but those are fine. Does anyone have any clue what else it could be?

Thanks! It was electrical. When they put my starter in they hooked the wires up wrong.

Re: 2000 Cavalier starter problems
cool that it's fixed. hopefully it didn't screw up the solenoid on the starter as the emf prduced by the coil would be acting in the opposite direction, forcing the magnet inside to push outwards against the casing. over a drawn out period it could burn the coil out. hopefully all is well!
