geo prizm 1997 starter replacement
Could anyone tell me how to replace the starter on geo prizm 1997
1.6 liter. I am not sure how to access it from the hood or from the bottom of the car ? Last edited by adamz12; 10-13-2005 at 02:06 PM.

I have a 92 And I has to remove the breather and could access the top bolt. The bottom bolt I got from the right side of the car turning the wheels as far as I could and using a extra long extenstion about 5 feet long. You will have to reach behind the motor from the right side and feel for the bottom bolt. There are two bolts make sure to get the right one. This might not apply on your model if not buy a Haynes manual from your parts store.
