2001 ranger stalling on acceleration
I have a 2001 ford ranger and was on my way home from work and every time I would push on the accelerator the truck would almost die. had to keep my foot off the gas and let it run at its own pace. no check engine lights on, tried to floor it once and it did die. started back up but still would'nt take any gas and had to continue on at idle speed. any ideas or suggestions

Re: 2001 ranger stalling on acceleration
If you have more than about 60000 miles, I would have a complete tune up done on it. Not just changing the plugs. I mean plugs, wires, change out the air, fuel filters. Just give it a good once over on everything.
