Rockford Fostgate P2

I was talking to a friend of mine and he says one of his buddies has an inside at several car audio companies. He says he can get me 4 Rockford Fosgate P2 (punch's the gray ones) for 240 bucks or so. Then we were talking about putting them in my trunk but that would take up the whole trunk. I know 4 12's in a car trunk sounds insane.... it prolly is but still its 4 12's. Let me know what you guys think about the punch's.

Well for 240 bucks your looking at 60 bucks a piece. They handle 200 rms each. If you could get a 200rmsx2 amp you could bridge 2 together for 1 channel and the other 2 for the other.

Re: Rockford Fostgate P2

just buy two of em and port em and send em a good amt of power. youll get much more for your money this way and save a ton of trunk space. and it should be as loud or louder (depengind on tuning) than the 4 sealed.

and if he really does have a hookup then what else could he get? cause if you go this way youll save $120 that could go towards some better woofs.

Re: Rockford Fostgate P2

$120 for a pair of thoes isnt bad at all. only other low line drivers that can be had for that is Kicker Comps with no warranty (unauthorized dealer) and RE's off the top of my head...if the atlas's where still around id reccomend a single 15 but they're no so alas... for a but more dough an SE 15 could be purchased and would take about the same ammount of power with better accuracy, possibly a tad louder (or a tad quieter).
