1997 pa

1997 pa died on me while driving i parked and put in drive it runs for about 5 mins and dies do anybody know what this could be please help

It could be a number of things really. What are the symptoms right before it dies? Does it chug like it wants to run or does it just straight die?

it just straight dies out with no hesitation

Have you had the battery tested or the alternator?

no not yet i was going to do all that today should i also let the mechanic put it on the scanner even though none of lights are on in the dash board

If you're getting any kind of power i would have him hook up the scanner and check for codes.
