Who's got the fastest GTP?

Just curious as to who thinks they might have a pretty fast GTP. I don't really care who "smoked a mustang or a corvette or this or that". Who has the fastest 1/4 time for a GTP in the forum? What mods do you have? Dyno HP? How much did it cost you?

Good question...Mine is a stock 97 1/2 Regal GS. I have'nt modded yet, but would like to know how to get more bang for my buck.

I probably have the slowest GTP on the forum.

Thrasher CAI, DHP v1.0 PCM, SLP Headers,

1/4 ET: 13.210 sec. @ 104.490 mph
0 - 60 ft: 1.945 sec.

No i guarantee i have the slowest gtp here

a Stock 04' gtp with the factory tires...

I'm going to wait till tax season(a time of year all working college students look forward to) and get wheels and tires at the same time...

I plan on getting a cold air intake from my brother for X-mas and exhaust from my parents...

With any money I get my grandparent's, etc. I'm going to tent the windows...

I want to have a pretty quick car but I want it to look nice as well... Don't worry I'm stopping at wheels and tinted windows, then I'm going to put money where it counts, under the hood

Wheels and tires are ok, because the new wheels can reduce unsprung weight over the stockers, so its a win-win, look nice, perform better. Tint is fine too, because it protects your interior from UV rays. We won't brand you a ricer unless you put a 3 ft tall wing on the back, or something similarly stupid.

That won't be happening, hell I'm scared to even buy Mufflers and won't until I do some research on them... Right now it seems Magnaflow is the "quiter" of the performance exhaust, any one have any input on that subject? I want performance but no "fart" if you catch my drift...

an 'O4 stock GTP's nothing slow man. its like O-6O in 6.6 or somethin

i actually think its a little quicker than that...

I've raced a 04' srt-4 driven by one of my good friends and he only had me by 3/4ths a car the entire race and I even think I was gaining about 85mph when he shut down...

He is consistenly running a 9.2x 1/8th mile and I figure I could probably go 9.4-9.50s...

No doubt the Srt-4s are stronger than us stock for stock but I was expecting it to be a lot worse than that...

My GTP may not be the fastest...but its definately not the slowest...and---ITS STOCK! lol...240 HP with a S/C 3800 Series II...soon gonna change out the S/C pulley for a 3.0" one, and put on a performance exhaust when i get some $$$ ill quote my friend after he got outta my car..."A.J., your car's got balls, man, balls to the walls!"

one of my friends bought a scion tc, I normally dont like to post kill stories of underpowered cars but this guy was running his mouth constantly about how my "supercharged secretary car" was going to be in trouble when he got his TC...

So he finally got his in on Monday and tonight we ran them(we both work together and got off at the same time)...

The 1st race(from a dead stop) lasted to roughly 45mph, I had him by A LOT and he wasn't gaining... Of course I got a mouth full of excuses about how he wasn't used to the car and couldn't launch, so we decided to go from a 25 kick on a back road near the air port...

He was definitely better off going out of the hole, at least then traction was a problem for me

Point of story:
One less ricer I have to deal with at work, guess he should have bought a supercharged secretary car instead... could have saved a few thousand... He ordered his TC with pretty much all the options and it cost him right at 20k, so not only is it ugly, its overpriced, if he wanted ugly he should have went for a srt-4 neon, would have cost roughly the same and would have a lot more balls than the TC...

Its still a neon, but a TC is a scion, so that argument is null...
