05 mustang GT vs. 300zx TT
so the new mustang GTs are suposed to be fast from what ive heard, and the closest ive ever come to racing one was staying behind a black one from 20-110 on a backroad and just keep on his tail...until tonite
regular night out , just got out of work and i have to drive this girl home....(shes a looker alright) anyways.. first thing i notice when i get outside is its perfect turbo weather..AWESOME i think to myself maybe ill get in a race before i get home.. ..no such luck while taking the girl home so i turn around and head towards my house on route 20 (its a 40mph), just moving alone when i see a weird healight design pull out onto 20 behind me, i was thinking maybe it was some luxury car but it turns out to be a black 05 GT...at this point im freaking out because ive wanted to race one forever.. he catches up to me and trys to slowly pull on me doin like 40-45, i dont let him (im in 4th btw). he down shifts and trys again at 45-55, still i just tap the gas and stay ahead a little. then i hear him drop it down another gear and go WOT so seeing as im going about 50-55ish i pick 2nd gear..it will give me a huge burst of HP for a couple of seconds then im in 3rd which is the z32 meanest gear i think to myself real quick.. so i drop it into second and hammer on the throttle but not going WOT..so now were even and the rpms are climbing fast...65..im pullin on him 70.....hes at my 1/4 panel...shift to 3rd he shoots from the corner of my eye to my rearveiw..it was the coolest thing ever, and the best "race" ive ever been in so far...the best part is we get up to a light and before he turns he yells over.. "hey what the hell do you have in that thing?" me:"twin turbo v6, thats a new GT right (like i didnt know)" "yea, but ill tell you, you really f*cked me up back there....like badly too!" just him sayin "you really f*cked me up back there" really made my night |

Nice kill, Im sure the guy in the stang was surprised, and at least he was cool about it. I love 300zx's, theyre really clean looking cars and you rarely see them, at least over here.

yea i have the jwt ecu @14psi and an intake, so by all the charts and everything im prolly about 310-315rwhp

Good kill. Some rims would really compliment that car. Some dude that my friends hang out with is getting his 300ZX TT back shortly w/ forged internals, headers, large turbo, intercooler, etc... The car is suppose to put down about 550 whp, so I don't think i'll be even remotely close.

Yeah it gets pretty snowy in Albany, its like Canada up there! and the ZX TT isnt AWD? if your afraid of salt then rust-proof your car and stop bitching...I wanna hear some winter racing stories

heh i doubt youd get winter racing stories even if he did have AWD. i know if i had one it would probably involve me going off the road because im in a mustang.

i race in the winter....against the falling snow while oversteering really bad around turns, but have good control
