desperate 92 civic!

help! i just recently changed my distributor rotor, spark plugs and spark plug wires one week ago and now my 92 civic ex is sputteringalot. the exhaust tail pipe has become black, took one of the spark plugs out and it is also very black.too black too quick if you ask me.OH, i also checked my fuel injectors-fine, and just changed my fuel filter two days ago. I checked my battery and alternator and they both are perculating good. The big proble is that when i tried to change the spark plugs again yesterday i cannot get them out.it's like the valves are stuck down or something.I need help fast! don't want to ruin the engine. Is there someway or something that i can spray into the valve cover to unstick the valves? Can someone please tel me why my car is sputtering so?! the whole engine is shaking and sometimes i have a bad start and alot of hesitation.THAnks much!

Re: desperate!

well turns out that a code came up for coolant teperature sensor so i looked in the hood and the wires for the connector had corroded os i got a new one from honda auto parts where live.I guess that caused my fuel to run very rich.As for the sputtering;i searched all over this forum and came across a mesage detailing how to clean the iacv(even though there was no code). So i cleaned the filter (very dirty) and the sputtering stopped immediately! NO more black exhaust! honda forum is great.Lots of searching, but it pays-Car runs very quiet.Smooth-al capone
