Re: need the tech names of d series motors

what does your intake manifold and throttle body have to do with a tranny conversion? And how did you do a tranny conversion if you dont even know which motor is in you car?

i read on many forums that if i put in my manuel ecu with out changing the throotle body and the intake manifold it will thow out cels and will bounce my rpm's 1-3 and will be hard to run low rpms and try and stall out on me many times, thas why i need to know if mine was a y8 cuase on the y7 i could of used my atuo manifold and body there are three ivac wires in the auto manifold and only two in the manuel manifold
