mix and match

is there a way you can bolt up a v6 vr4 to a basic five speed non all wheel drive car. or has this my sound dumb is the v6 in non turbo car the same in a turbo car ...( i dont the motor ids for 3000gts and stealths)

why would you want to switch a 6 speed vr4 into a 5 speed? the transfer case is so much weaker in a 5 speed, and it sucks. you can, however, weld the vcu to make the AWD stop working.

its not vr4 its a v6 non turbo i'm wanting to put a vr4 motor in it.

Yes it will bolt right up to your NA tranny.

A few "bolt on" mods, a couple "cut, smash, hammer, weld, etc" mods, and a couple "why the hell do I need this/what the hell is this" weight reductions.

Definitely... though you may have problems later on down the road... especially if you plan on doing performance mods... keep some money back for a tranny rebuild... I have put basic mods on my SOHC, but for some reason the tranny was barely hanging on... then I hit a deer and that finished out the transmission...I'm hoping to get the SOHC up to a/b 260 (gonna turbo it, plus it's 800lb lighter than VR4)...
