Speedometer Falure
Our 1996 Ford Contour 2.0L 4cyl automatic is overall a relaible car but ever since the day we bought it the speedometer refuses to work but recently the interior lights have begun to work at full strength. Other posts say that replacement of the vehicle speed sensor is the fix while others say that a new battery is the solution. Just to note the transmission is shifting just fine and the O/D and cruise control are unaffected as are the fuel gage and odometer. Any reply is appreciated.
