Need help removing factory radio in 99 ex. cab.

I have searched the forum and all i can find is stuff about the theftlock, what I am trying to figure out is how do you get the plastic piece around the radio off and make the radio accessible. The radio in my truck looks like this:

but it is the CD player - no tape deck.

My e-mail is [email protected]
Thanks in advance!

You first set the emergency brake, then tilt the steering wheel all the way down. turn they key on and pull the gear shift lever all the way down to 1. remove the outer dash trim piece by pulling on it. be careful when pulling it out because you can break the little plastic pieces if your not. after you get it out of the way, on each side of the radio is a place where you will have to use your fingers to press down and pull the radio out at the same time.

I can take pics for you if you need me to, because I'm not good at describing things. All in all, I can do this whole process in about 2 minutes.

For real dude. Thats it! Once you do it for the first time, its like 2nd nature. I can take a factory tape player out and put a cd player in and have all back together in about 5 mins. I've installed aftermarket units in 10 minutes before, and took my time to make sure I did a good job.

Now I'm just pissed that I paid someone else to put it in for the sole reason that I didn't know how to get into the dash to pull it out. That's one thing I like about Ford's....stereos are so easy to pull! Unfortunately also easy to steal.......

Couldn't be much easier in my opinion.
