Ill try

:badass: My friend recently had this problem. First thing to try is just bang all around on the inside of the door panel. This might loosen the motor if it has gotten corroded. If that doesnt work you should take the door panel off and look at the motor. This way you will be able to see if it is corroded. If you can uncorroded it in any way do so. If not i would go and buy a new motor and install it myself. It shouldnt be to hard.

Could also be JUST the switch on the door!

They're cheap, and fixed my window - it also wouldn't go up after it went down one night - pissed me off. So, I tried a switch first, and what do you know - it solved the problem.

Until next time - this is the 2nd time I've replaced that switch in 3 years.

does the motor sound like it's running when you push the switch?

ford and some the other makers decided to use crappy plastic gears in the motor that are prone to breaking, I've had two go out on my bird.

but if it sounds to be running, it probably broke the gears

I have a 86 T-Bird and I just recently had to replace both motors. For some reason both went out at exactly the same time, and were both stuck about a 1/4 of the way up. They are pretty easy to replace, but 65 bucks each is hard for me to pay, so I hope they last a while
